So proud of my DIY success here.... The reason why half the brackets are black is because B&Q had run out of white and I was in a rush to get it done...

That's a lot of books you've got there- an interesting idea of yours to borrow them all to make it look like you're actually doing some work down there and that the shelves aren't so that you can finally display our DVD collection.
I'm slightly confused as to whether you've fot a really large bottle of Tobasco on the top shelf- can't quite make it out
