Monday

Monday was great fun. I had exactly 100grams of pasta (because that was what the pack suggested and I had electronic scales and plenty of time).

Then we set off for London to go to a Book Launch, on the way through Victoria station I picked up 2 bacon cheeseburgers from McD's to fill me up.

Drank a few glasses of Champagne and met some people. Back through Victoria station, had a triple bacon cheeseburger from Burger King and a bottle of White from Threshers. Dashed back for Comedy Night and the Amazingly hilarious German, Helmut.

I told a joke: 2 dyslexics are in a room, one turns to the other and says "can you smell gas" the other replies, "are you joking I cant even smell my own name". Dave's joke one the competition as he was so drunk and delivered it so poorly that everyone was in stitches.

Tried to go home and get some sleep but we were stopped by a birthday party, and it would be just rude not to go - another bottle of wine was sourced.

The New Statesman

I went to see the New Statesman at the Theatre Royal Brighton last night. I have seen all the TV episodes and throught it might be good for a laugh.

Overall I thought it wasn't bad, and I was hoping it to be very good... In all honesty I would have to admit it was unexeptional and, apart from an expensive looking set, It is what I would expect from a high school production.

The script contained inaccuracies, some of the laughs were cheap and highly predictable. The curtain call took forever with Rik Mayall continuing to take applause long after the audience wanted to give it and with members of his own cast looking on with embarassment. Nevertheless, whilst i found it disappointing, some parts were bearable and there were even one or two amusing jokes. The funniest one was inadvertant as a lone socialist in the audience clapped when B'stard's assistant was advocating banning private medicine and renationalising everything.

Had chicken afterwards...

Wednesday!

I'm going to try and get this website ticking over again.

Made a meat pie, it had room for improvement but very edible. In the evening I had chicken with vegetables on rice.

Watched the football: highlight of the match was a squirrel running across the pitch a few times.

King Sandwich.

Got back to uni, went to the shops via the house we're moving into next year.

Made the king of sandwiches, top quality bread, the best sausages, the best bacon, an 'easy-over' egg, red onion and a dash of tomato sauce. Gorgeous, good to be back.

Just an idea

Passover- know very little about it, ita in the paper today, but:

If your are jewish you believe that if you eat leven food on passover you're going to hell, i gather food is burnt

Israel wants palestine to go to hell and palestinians always seem hungry after extensive sanctions etc (see where this is going)

Give the food to them, happily knowing they're gonna go to hell and solve their hunger issues, everyone is a winner!

An idea from the simply minded.
